First - A little trivia about the grounds. In 1992, Smiles created the name Mother Earth’s Creations as a registered business for vending and a small store out of his home. Once we began the grounds the name was transferred to the LLC - keeping the name alive. We will meet a goal set at the beginning of this dream in September 2019. Our 50th Powwow offered at the Grounds. We have only had to cancel one Powwow in 19 years because we did not have enough canoes to get into the Dance Circle. We have had almost 50 weddings or unions, 22 personal Family Gatherings, 8 reunion gatherings, 10 Grounds awareness educational group tours (non-powwow times), Naming’s, Graduations and Birthday party gatherings and more offerings.
We took a dream and manifested it into reality in 2002 and we have been honored to have been able to offer these wonderful Powwow Gatherings and September 2019 will be our 50th Powwow that has been offered at Mother Earth’s Creations.
