Mother Earth’s Creations, LLC is a registered company name in the State of New Hampshire and also holds a registered trade logo.
This company has many facets in it’s organization.
Organizer of Native Events and we also participate within the local town’s Old Homes Week.
Dedicated Native Events Grounds located in NH off of RT 16 in West Ossipee. We host Powwows, Educational Events, Special Events, and all types of Demonstrations. We purchased over 8 acres of property in West Ossipee NH and began to create a dedicated Native American Focused Intertribal Powwow Grounds. A large part of West Ossipee’s history is based on a towns settlement near an Abinaki Nation’s village that was located on the west side of Ossipee Lake. Construction of these grounds began in 2003.
At these Intertribal Powwow Grounds, the most difficult thing about Powwows, gatherings, events and Spirituals, that are open to the Public, is trying to keep all aspects of the grounds sacred and held in honor. We are trying something that we hope will not offend anyone, but educate everyone. There are Grounds Elders, a Grounds Council, and Memorial plaques. The grounds are sectioned off into 3 separate areas...
The Public Areas.- These areas are open to the Public Guests to walk freely around without many limitations. These areas have the following:
Vending area - Trading venders that are open for the sale of their crafts and native items.
Drum Arbor & Dance Circle - Where the Native Drumming and Songs are being played and the Participants are offering a display of their dance styles. The dance circle is also open to the public to learn different styles of dance.
Social area - This is an area that is set aside for those who wish to congregate around a fire pit and share the stories of the past and present.
Community Feasting area - This area is where the evening feast is being prepared for the Participants. The feast is being prepared throughout the day and can be viewed by anyone who attends the event.
Smiling Spirit’s Trading Post - a centrally located Vending site for food, snacks, soda machines, camping supplies, raffle items, and some crafts.
Demonstration Area - This is where blanket traders and other demonstrators are open to share the construction or techniques of a specific craft. Also shown here is the set-up and Take-down of a Southwestern Tipi, as well as different Native style games. All of these areas should be held in a Respectful way. Educational signs are posted throughout the grounds.
Museum Display - A cabinet of Antiques, displays, and educational literature. All of these areas that were mentioned are dedicated areas to allow the public guests to make mistakes, ask questions and to learn about the Native Ways.
The Lodging Area - This is an area that is set aside for the Participants who are helping to put on the events. The Participants set up their homes for the duration of the events. This area is off limits to the public guests to enter during the events. We have sites for Lodging, herb beds, traditional lodging areas, the Lodge that holds the Sacred Fire, roads and paths for tranquil walks.
Sacred Area. This area is set aside for Spiritual purposes. This area is totally off limits to the Public. The things offered within this area are set in a Sacred way and must be honored as such. We have the Sacred Circle for ceremonies, meditation areas, and a Medicine Lodge for council. The Sacred Area will be held in a Full Heart's Way / Your Traditional Way / Respect & Honor. This should be an area that you can allow your spirit to be honored.
We hope to provide a place to educate, decrease racism, increase Native American awareness, and provide an area for active participation to occur. The most important thing we hope to convey to the public guests is.....- If it feels wrong ... Don't Do It - If you feel unsure ... Ask Questions - and If you feel safe and your heart feels excited ... Try It!!! The best way to experience a new adventure is to take a chance and participate within it.
